A never ending battle of iPhones and Androids which one is better. We all may have different opinions on this but overall there’s no conclusion of which is better amidst them. Talking about me, I am a muddled person since both of them have their own pros and cons and are amazingly successful in the market.
iOS over Android
Since the range of Apple products has grown notably in recent years. The company has started to launch computers, MacBooks, iPads and has since added music players to its smart watches to upgrade their product selection. Apple provides a wide range of products and services for various purposes. You don’t need to download or install separate applications in separate devices to link them together, it’s enough when you sign in to the devices with the same Apple ID. It also guarantees the user safety. It is also well known that Information security companies unanimously agree that Apple devices are more secure than Android devices. The operating environment is secure when devices, users, manufacturers and app developers are all in the same ecosystem. While in android situation is different several manufacturers produce phones and tablets based on the same operating system, so a safe ecosystem and using the devices together seamlessly cannot be guaranteed. Being an android user I am also not able to experience a secure environment.
Apple phones are based on a simple operating logic which doesn’t even change significantly on upgrading to a modified version.
Some apps may not be released at all for Android phones. The App Store’s revenue model also serves the app developers to develop better apps of high quality which will guarantee safe and good apps for iPhone users in the future as well.
Also, iPhones hold their own value. Apple relases one model of iPhone every year and just after it’s launch people run here and there in it’s search irrespective of it’s cost. This is an annual event which is witnessed by billions of people across the world. The iPhone enthusiasts eagerly wait for the latest version of the premium smartphones. Since iPhone 1’s launch in 2007, the smartphone has witnessed 15 upgrades till now.
iPhones are more durable than androids since they are made of high quality material, which helps to maintain it’s resale value for a much longer period of time. Apple phones also remain as flagship models and up-to-date longer, as there is only one manufacturer and new and better phones aren’t launched as often as Android phones.
Android over iPhones
Unlike Apple Androids offer a wide range of designs, colours, sizes and also a varied range of prices.
Android is an open source, it offers more freedom and more customisation options than iOS. You have access to change almost everything from your home screen layout to the font of your phones, etc for a more personalised experience.
With Androids you have a greater access to a wide range of applications and games. Hence, Androids also offer you with a expandable memory using microSD cards and most of them also have an internal memory of 256GB. It also leads to a better file management.
Androids offer more control over apps, permissions, and processes that run in the background. This serves to protect your privacy, extend your battery life, and keep your device running smoothly all day.
Androids are more budget-friendly than iPhones. You can easily find a really good phone under the range of 10,000 but not an iPhone in such good condition as the android.
Being jumbled amongst so many options, I can’t conclude by hosting one of them as a winner. So let me know this in comment section which one should be the conqueror.
Till then this is only from my side.
